Helping Couples win is a coaching course designed to help you and your spouse enjoy high levels of marital satisfaction. Marital satisfaction is based on factors and skills couples can do something about in any season or stage of life. Helping Couples Win unpacks those factors and skills in 24 sessions. Each session has a 6-10 minute video, session guide and follow-up conversation starters. Take the course at your own pace as a couple or with a small group of couples. These fun and quick sessions cover a wide range of topics including, but not limited to, priorities, maturity, family of origin, quality time, communication, outside influences, sex, honor, laughter, anger and forgiveness.

We believe marriage should be honored by all (Hebrews 13:4). Young or old, married or single, we are all called to esteem marriage between husband and wife as highly valuable.
We believe marriage should be enjoyed (Ecclesiastes 9:7-9). God did not give you your spouse to be the grind, He gave you your spouse to be your companion through the grind of life. Marital satisfaction is a choice, not an outcome. Marital satisfaction is based on factors and skills couples can do something about in any season or stage of life.
We believe marriage should be prioritized (Genesis 2:24). The bond between a husband and wife is stronger than the bond between a parent and a child. Children are a welcomed addition to the home, but not the center of it.
I met Dr. Gary Smalley in 2002. It all started over breakfast at Bob Evans. Amy and I were in the middle of a church crisis and when Gary found out, well let’s just say he was eager to help us through it. Gary pictured a special future for us from that morning until he went to be with the Lord in 2016. For 14 years, he poured into our marriage, family and ministry. We are grateful for Gary and will always attribute our work with couples to how the Lord used him in our marriage ministry. Gary enjoyed life and helping couples. We now help couples enjoy life together.
